Level of organization

The six levels of organization in ecology are species, population, community, ecosystem, biomes, and biosphere. Species is the most basic unit of biological organization. Many individual species make up a population just as multiple population makes up a community. And they all go on from there. A population is a group of animals living in a given area. A community is all the animals that live in a certain area. Communities are made from multiple populations since communities are basically enlarged version of a population. Then there is the ecosystem, an ecosystem is a biological community where species live and interact with other species. Ecosystem is a sum of communities just as communities are a sum of populations. Biomes is the sum of ecosystems. An example of a biome would be a desert or an amazon of South Africa. Biomes are large naturally occurring communities and a biosphere is like earth. The combination of all the biomes of the planet, this combination creates a beautiful and adventurous planet we now love on known as Earth
